Paddy Jarit, hired late last season to be the Indians director of medical services, has left the ballclub.

"It was a mutual decision," Shapiro said.

Shapiro said he wouldn't hire a replacement this year.

I find that whole take by Shapiro very disturbing, do you?

Umm...the fact that someone left the organization? Or the fact they are not going to fill the position for the rest of the year? Not sure what you are talking about Alex.

Jarit was hired right after it was revealed that Ricky G and Matt Lawton's injuries were found to be more serious than originally known.

Plus, there was Wickman, Fryman, etc. It seems like
Jarit's hiring was a direct result of these injuries
being even worse than anybody expected.

So why did Jarit leave?

Shrug...dunno...maybe he found a nice admin job at a hospital? Or part of a college?

It's a two part post, was he replaced, or is the position going to remain vacant?

And why create the position, (which was needed), then dissamble it so quickly?
